The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre is taking over the Danish town of Solvang for the Ultimate Comedy Bash
Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10. The best in cutting-edge improv, stand-up and sketch comedy
entertain for three shows that will make you laugh until you puke.

The first show, UCB Theatre’s Fresh Faces, is at the Maverick Saloon Friday, October 9 at 8pm. Hosted by
Paul F. Tompkins (Best Week Ever), Fresh Faces features a strong group of young UCB Theatre performers on
the rise. Catch Matt Braunger (MADtv), Kyle Kinane (Last Call with Carson Daly), Josh Fadem (It’s Always
Sunny In Philadelphia), Harris Wittels (The Sarah Silverman Program) and The Birthday Boys (Official
Selection, Just For Laughs Festival) – before they become household names.

Saturday, October 10 at noon is the improv juggernaut ASSSSCAT at the Solvang Festival Theater. UCB
Theatre’s signature show ASSSSCAT features the Upright Citizens Brigade improvising subversive sketches
inspired by the monologues of a celebrity guest. With Matt Besser (Walk Hard), Amy Poehler (Saturday Night
Live), Ian Roberts (Reno 911!), Matt Walsh (The Hangover) and monologist Thomas Lennon (17 Again).
Also at the Solvang Festival Theater is The Greatest Comedy Show Ever Saturday, October 10 at 3pm. This
variety show features characters, stand-up, music and more trailblazing comedy from Aziz Ansari (Parks &
Recreation), Paul F. Tompkins (Mr. Show), Thomas Lennon & Robert Ben Garant (Reno 911!), Paul Rust
(Inglourious Basterds), Nick Kroll (I Love You, Man), Casey Wilson (Saturday Night Live) and many more.
